International Students

The Dunedin Steiner School welcomes international students to the school community.
We are a kindergarten and full primary school (up to Class 7) and we are a Signatory  to the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International students (2021).
The school will consider applications for enrolment from international students and will work with the following criteria:
  • Children must be living with their parents for the duration of their stay.
  • Children must be attending a Steiner School in their home country
  • Normally enrolments will only be accepted for a minimum of two school terms
  • Enrolment depends on space within the classes
  • The tuition fee for international students from class 1 to 7 is $3,800 per term (including 15% GST tax) or $15,200 per annum.
If any unresolved financial or contractual disputes arise with the school, you can access a free independent disputes resolution service for international students.  Accessing this service will be covered with students and families during their application process and orientation at school. Further information can be found here.
